Game Notes | A Kieran Donnelly goal own goal after 19 minutes put Rovers ahead and he later had the misfortune to head over the bar in front of an open goal from just a few feet out following a corner. But a powerful header from Lewis Laws equalised for Borough two minutes from the interval. Ry Hardy burst through the middle in the 50th minute to slam Borough ahead with a low shot from the edge of the penalty area but Borough were made to pay dearly for missing a number of fine chances when Brimsdown battled their way through the Borough defence as missed tackle followed missed tackle to leave Tony Neilsen with a clear close range shot at goal for the equaliser. Buoyed by that success Rovers finished very strongly and went close to snatching a winner in the final few minutes and a Borough header from a free kick in the dying seconds was also only inches away from being the winner.
Borough Squad:- Daniel White, Sam McCarthy, Lloyd Mitchell, Ian Maitland, Kieran Donnelly, Brendan O'Brien, Ry Hardy, Melvin Thompson, Joe Seabrook (John Cole) Lewis Laws Murat Karadag (Lasalle Simon)
