| Game Notes | A disappointing performance from Borough after their fine showing against Ware the previous Tuesday. The visiting 'keeper was never properly tested and after Cheshunt took an early lead with a low shot and doubled it midway through the half a Borough come-back never looked likely. Debut making 'keeper Jason Hartles did well to prevent a third when he got down well to his left to push aside a hard struck penalty at the foot of the post. But generally no Borough player really enhanced his reputation and Cheshunt won easily without ever being seriously under pressure and added a further three goals after the interval. |
