BRIEF HISTORY OF HARINGEY BOROUGH YOUTH SECTION

Having run successful Under 18 sides in the prestigious Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League for a number of years with 2004/05 being the outstanding season when both the Divisional Championship and the Colwyn Cup were won ;   on one occasion the team reached the 2nd Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup so putting the Club's name in the hat with Manchester United, Arsenal et al.        Haringey Borough then entered an Under 16 side to play in the Harrow Youth League for the 2006-07 season. This  proved so successful a venture, with the team winning its Division while maintaining an unbeaten record and reaching the League Cup Final, that the Club was prompted to offer the appointment  of 'Head of Youth Development' to its dedicated manager, Rakatahr Hudson which he readily accepted.
For season 2007/08 the Youth Section of the Club was expanded to cater for all six age groups from Under 18 down to Under 13  with the long term aim of increasing the number of youth sides at the club still further to provide a constant flow of young players coming right through the club to under 18  and First team level.
Season 2008/09 saw the number of teams reduced to 4 being in the Cheshunt Youth League at Under 13, 16 and 17 age levels while the Under 18s again reached the final of the Colwyn Cup.     At the end of the season Rakatahr Hudson moved  into Senior football Management with Kentish Town FC and his Assistant Ben Corbyn took over his role.
For 2009/10 saw the number of teams was  again 4 but that included a new venture into The Eastern Junior Alliance at Under 16 level.  Cheshunt Youth League teams were run at the Under 15 and Under 17 age groups.    The Under 16s reached the final of the London County Cup;   the Under 18s were again winners of the Nemean Division of the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League.

REGRETTABLY THE CLUB WAS NOT ABLE TO RUN YOUTH TEAMS AT ANY AGE GROUP FROM 2010/11 ONWARDS

But in season 2017/18 a return to Youth Football began with the re-for ming of an Under 18 team  to play in the Delphian Division of the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League
