Game Notes	Borough Women did enough to secure a comfortable win against opponents who defended doggedly but could find no cutting edge to complement some promising approach work. The first half saw few clear openings created although for Borough Aishah Bolaji, Christina Oshodi and Joselina Ferreira all went very close. Cherkish Young in the Borough goal made one important close range block and fielded everything which came her way confidently enough. The deadlock was broken just before the interval thanks to the sheer speed of Ferreira who raced onto a long ball and although initially looking second favourite just reached it before the oncoming ‘keeper and lifted it into the open net. Samuella King was introduced at half time to add further power to Borough’s attacking options and only five minutes into the half Tanya Beverley was put through and made no mistake with her close range shot. Borough were now mainly in control of proceedings although Lynn rallied in determined fashion but could find no way past Stephanie Cooper and Karla Parker to create any clear chances on goal. Unexpectedly the last few minutes unfortunately saw a flurry of confrontations and cautions, two of which being against the same Borough player resulted in a red card but by then the match was won as Bolaji was in position to finish a flowing move with an accurate header as the ball came in from the right.
