31ST MARCH 2014 - GROUND UPGRADE COMPLETE

Today Coles Park passed the Ground Upgrade Inspection by the FA which means that it is now acceptable for teams at Step 4 in the National Game pyramid.   So Borough could now play in the Ryman (Isthmian) or Calor (Southern) League into which the Champions of the Essex Senior League are promoted.   Its not impossible that we could finish top this season, although we are obviously not favourites as 3 teams have dropped less points than us.    But next season it can be "all systems go" right from the off knowing that promotion is there for the taking at the end of the seaso if the players deliver on the field
